Team Lunacraft

Founded in 2015, Lunacraft Productions is a Sydney based independent production company, supported by a highly creative and passionate team of producers, directors, writers, photographers, videographers/cinematographers, editors, make up and VFX artists, graphic designers, illustrators, costume and production designers. Offering a full service creative solution to any project.

Most notably Lunacraft Productions was the WINNER of the Inaugural 2015 Dolby Sound Challenge for their (first) short film ‘LOST & FOUND’ which was mixed in the fully immersive new technology, Dolby ATMOS at Soundfirm Melbourne and remastered in Dolby VISION at Dolby Laboratories in Hollywood, Los Angeles. Recently, their 48 Hour Film Project Short Film, FLYTRAP, was internationally recognised when officially selected from over 130 countries and screened at the 2019 48ISFF Awards Ceremony at the Directors Guild Of America in Hollywood. Lunacraft Productions is currently developing a slate of locally and internationally produced content and feature films.

Commercially, Lunacraft Productions has built a diverse and international client roster including Rooster Teeth Productions, Blizzard Entertainment, Event Cinemas and Fox International Channels.







Richard de Carvalho

An award-winning filmmaker, Richard has worked across various areas of film production for over 10 years, culminating a wealth of creative and cinematic knowledge. Richard is trained in both film – as an AFTRS (Australian Film Television Film & Radio School) alumnus, and design – initially working as a designer and art director for industry clients and national publications.

As co-founder, director and lead creative for Lunacraft Productions, Richard’s vivid artistic sensibilities and love of collaborating with creative talents help accompany his passionate storytelling. Among his artistic ventures, he is proud to have conceptually realised works for international clients and local production houses. His work is diverse and thought provoking, ranging from documentaries to ambitious worlds of fantasy and drama.






Carol Jovicic

A producer and photographer, Carol co-founded Lunacraft Productions and for the past 5 years has worked within the industry covering pop culture expos, major events and productions for local and international clients, such as Rooster Teeth and Blizzard Entertainment, while ensuring the team always deliver the desired results.

Carol’s first official production saw Lunacraft win the Inaugural Dolby Sound Challenge in 2015 and recently, two of her short films have been recognised during their festival runs; FLYTRAP – officially selected for the 2019 48ISFF Awards in Hollywood, and LENNY – shortlisted at 2019’s Tropfest.
